SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and can be used in operation of user equipment and a base station. The method for operation of the user equipment (UE) for communicating with the base station (BS) in a wireless communication system consists in receiving information about the amount of repetitions K from the base station in order to perform uplink retransmissions, and performing uplink retransmissions on successive resources in the time domain within the time period associated with the hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier (ID), wherein the uplink retransmissions are configured by means of BS without dynamic scheduling. The uplink retransmissions are completed at the end of said time period, wherein the amount of uplink retransmissions does not reach the amount of repetitions K at the end of said time period.

EFFECT: reduction in the inconsistency between the base station and the user equipment, reduction in the probability of a conflict between the user equipment.
