FIELD: photometric measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of photometry. It can be used in experiments related to studies of the effects of light radiation on materials and elements used in modern technology, where high reliability of the values of the measured parameters is required. For example, to measure radiation pulses (energy density) in the test areas of installations that simulate the effects of light radiation from nuclear explosions on materials and elements used in modern weapons and military equipment. It can also find application in the study of the damaging effect of light radiation on modern and promising optical and optoelectronic military devices. This device can also be used in assessing the effectiveness of means of protecting the visual organs of combat vehicle crew members from optical radiation from high-intensity sources of natural (lightning, meteorite explosions) and man-made origin (light radiation from nuclear explosions, explosions of shock-light ammunition, light-beam means of exposure, etc.). A design feature of the proposed device is the presence of a protective ring that protects the side of the receiving element from converging beams of the modeling installation. Another design feature is that an amplifier of signals generated by a measuring thermocouple is placed inside the device, which makes it possible to transmit this signal to the recording equipment practically without distortion and interference.
EFFECT: increase in the metrological and operational characteristics of the device.
