SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for producing a supramolecular composition based on L-cysteine and silver salt. The method for obtaining a supramolecular composition based on L-cysteine and silver salt includes the preparation of aqueous solutions of L-cysteine with a concentration of 0.01 M/l and silver nitrite with a concentration of 0.01 M/l, further mixing of the obtained solutions is carried out with the addition of distilled water so that the concentration of L-cysteine in the mixture is 0.003 M, and the molar ratio of silver nitrite and L-cysteine is in the range of 1.00-1.60, the resulting mixture is kept at a temperature of 18-28°C for 4-12 hours in a place protected from light.

EFFECT: above-described method makes it possible to obtain a yellow thixotropic hydrogel containing stabilized silver nanoparticles with an average diameter of 10 to 50 nm.
