FIELD: aviation; space industry; shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anti-CMAS coatings; it can be used in gas turbines or propulsion systems used in aviation, space, shipbuilding and other industries to protect parts exposed to high temperatures. A method for coating at least one surface of a solid base with a layer containing at least one ceramic compound by suspension plasma spraying includes injecting at least one suspension of at least one ceramic compound into a plasma jet and spraying it onto the surface of the base to form a layer containing at least one ceramic compound, while in a suspension, at least 90 vol.% of solid particles have a diameter of less than 15 mcm and at least 50 vol.% of solid particles have a diameter greater than or equal to 1 mcm.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the infiltration of pollutants, such as CMAS, into coating.
