FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sandwiched coating making a heat barrier on metal substrate of refractory alloy. Said barrier comprises at least one metal subply (13) and ply (14) of ceramic based on zirconium dioxide stabilised by yttrium and representing a column-like structure that defines the pores. Sol-gel is used to impregnate at least a portion of pores of said ceramic ply (14) with zirconium dioxide sol. Subply (22) for attachment of protective ply is made on said ceramic ply (14). Over the latter laid is said subply (22) with the help of sol-gel process to secure oxide-based safety ply (20). Application of sol including the precursors of said oxide and thermal processing allows making of outer protective ply resisting the effects of materials composed, mainly, by oxides of calcium, magnesium, aluminium and silicon on said heat barrier.
EFFECT: protective heat barrier with structure increasing longer life.
