FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a thermal barrier coating by plasma spraying. Plasma spraying of the first binder coating and then the first ceramic coating is carried out on the surface of the article. First binder coating consists of two successively sputtered layers. First, a layer of the first binder coating is sprayed at angle of 45–90° to the surface of the article. Then a three-dimensional capillary-porous layer of the first binding coating in the form of cavities and ridges of different height is sprayed at an angle less than 45° to the surface of the article. On the first ceramic coating, a mixture of powders of the second binder coating is sprayed with a concentration which decreases to 0% when approaching the free surface of the obtained thermal barrier coating, and a second ceramic coating with concentration increasing from 0 to 100% when approaching the free surface of the obtained thermal barrier coating.
EFFECT: obtaining a thermal barrier coating on an article, which ensures operation of the article with said coating during thermal cycling under conditions of difference in thermal expansion coefficients of the article and the coating.
