SUBSTANCE: area of application: for ultrasonic non-destructive testing by the ToFD method. Substance of the invention consists in the system for non-destructive testing by the ToFD method, according to the variants of the invention, consisting of combinations of an emitter and a receiver based on four variants of the structure of the piezoelectric element of the emitter and two variants of the structure of the piezoelectric element of the receiver. Structures of the piezoelectric elements of the emitter and receiver have a larger area than the structures of the piezoelectric elements of a classical ToFD pair and are shaped as a circle, an ellipse, a rectangle, or two aligned rectangular piezoelectric plates.

EFFECT: higher quality of non-destructive testing due to the increased sensitivity of the ToFD method, and provided possibility of testing by the ToFD method in conditions of difficult transmission of ultrasound.
