SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of data transmission. The terminal apparatus is used to send a first request message to the network apparatus, wherein the first request message is intended to request establishment of a session including N data streams in a first protocol data unit (PDU) session. The terminal apparatus is used to receive a response message sent by the network apparatus in response to the first request message, wherein the response message is intended to indicate that the network apparatus refuses to establish a session including M data streams from the N data streams in the first PDU session, wherein both N and M constitute a positive integer, and wherein N is greater than or equal to M.
EFFECT: improved productivity of the communication system.
