SUBSTANCE: claim relates to the field of mobile communication technology and, in particular, to a method and a device for session processing. The method for session processing contains stages, at which an application (hereinafter – APP) is initiated using a terminal device, a session type corresponding to APP is determined based on UE route selection policy (URSP), and the first message is transmitted to an object of access and mobility control function (hereinafter – AMF), wherein the first message includes the session type, and it is used for a request for establishing the session of the specified type. In the method, when the first message used for a request for establishing PDU session is initiated in AMF object, the terminal device adds PDU session type to the first message in such a way that a network side can establish PDU session of the corresponding type based on PDU session type, which is sent by the terminal device.
EFFECT: increase in correctness of communication between a terminal device and a network side.
