SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and veterinary medicine, in particular to increasing the efficiency and safety of combating a causative agent of bird dermanyssiosis – a red chicken tick Dermanyssus gallinae. A method for processing single-tiered and multi-tiered poultry houses in the presence of poultry provides for spraying of an insecticide-acaricide agent in a powder form using rechargeable knapsack dusters at a rate of consumption of the insecticide-acaricide agent of 12-15 g/m² of a working area of a poultry house, including the area of a floor, walls, partitions, cell batteries and wooden houses-nests, the duration of processing is no longer than 2 hours from the moment a ventilation system is turned off, and a processing rate for one person is no more than 1500 m² of the working area of the poultry house. Repeated processing of the poultry house is carried out 8-12 days after the primary one according to a scheme completely similar to the primary processing. As an insecticide-acaricide agent, a preparation “Coretron” is used.

EFFECT: proposed method for processing single-tier and multi-tier poultry houses in the presence of poultry ensures the effective destruction of the red chicken tick Dermanyssus gallinae in industrial poultry farms, has a high processing speed and accuracy of dosing of the agent.
