SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method for treatment of poultry houses in the presence of hens or ducks, providing destruction of all live specimens of red chicken mite D. gallinae, with duration of treatment of no longer than 2 hours from a moment of turning a ventilation system off. A Vuran-dust 0.7% insect-acaricide agent in the form of powder is sprayed using S VE Volpi 6000 g 12V, or Dust storm (G. Revello, Italy), or DINAMICA (Volpi, Italy) battery knapsack duster. An application rate of the insect-acaricide agent is set at a level from 9.9 to 16.8 g/m² of a working area of the poultry house (including an area of floor, walls, partitions, and wooden nest houses), a treatment rate for one person is no more than 1500 m² of the working area of the poultry house. For compliance with this requirement, it is necessary to preliminary calculate a number of treatment participants. Repeated treatment of the poultry house is performed 8-12 days after the primary one, according to a scheme completely similar to primary treatment. Double treatment with the specified time interval allows for full destruction of D. gallinae population in the poultry house, as, for 8-12 days, all adult mites in shelters, due to their trophic needs, are forced to go out for feeding on poultry, and larvae hatch from all previously laid eggs, which, unlike eggs, are completely sensitive to Vuran-dust 0.7% agent.

EFFECT: invention allows for provision of a necessary speed of treatment and accuracy of dosing of a preparation.
