SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science and concerns using an isoxazoline compound for preventing or treating invasions by parasitic arthropod poultry. Isoxazoline compound is selected from compounds: CAS RN 864731-61-3 - fluralaner USAN; CAS RN 928789-76-8; CAS RN 1164267-94-0; Sarolane - CAS RN 1398609-39-6; Lothiliner INN - CAS RN 1369852-71-0; CAS RN 1093861-60-9, USAN - afoxolaner; CAS RN 1231754-09-8. Effective amount of the isoxazoline compound is administered through drinking water in the form of two separate doses every 7 days.
EFFECT: invention provides effective control of existing population of mites in birds and prevention of formation of new population with low dosage of active compound.
