FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: age-appropriate system of nutritional compositions contains two nutritional compositions A for infants aged 0 to 1 month and at least one nutritional composition B for infants aged 1 to 2 months. Nutritional compositions A and B contain breast milk oligosaccharides (hereinafter – BMO), which differ from each other in the amount of BMO present in them, at least a source of protein, a source of carbohydrates and a source of fats. Two nutritional compositions A are the first nutritional composition A1 for infants aged 0 to 7 days and the second nutritional composition A2 for infants aged 8 days to 1 month, or the first nutritional composition A1 for infants aged 0 to 6 days and the second nutritional composition A2 for infants aged 7 days to 1 month, or the first nutritional composition A1 for infants aged 0 to 5 days and the second nutritional composition A2 for infants aged 6 days to 1 month, or the first nutritional composition A1 for infants aged 0 to 4 days and the second nutritional composition A2 for infants aged 5 days to 1 month, or the first nutritional composition A1 for infants aged 0 to 3 days, and the second nutritional composition A2 for infants aged 4 days to 1 month. Preferably, nutritional compositions A1 and A2 differ from each other in the amount of BMO present in them. The first nutritional composition A1 contains BMO in the amount from 5000 to 10,000 mg/l, and the second nutritional composition A2 contains BMO in the amount from 1000 to 5000 mg/l. BMO are selected from 2’-fucosyllactose, 3’-sialyllactose, 6’-sialyllactose, lacto-N-neotetraose, lacto-N-tetraose or any combination thereof. The use of the age-appropriate system of nutritional compositions in the making of a product for infant feeding is proposed. A baby nutrition kit contains a system of age-appropriate nutritional compositions, in which nutritional compositions are packaged in single-dose units. A method for making a system of nutritional compositions for infants and a method for providing an infant with nutrition are proposed.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an improved infant nutrition system that takes into account changing nutritional needs of infants, that is, an accurate imitation of the nutritional quality and composition of breast milk that change during lactation.
