FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to plant growing. The method includes LED lighting with different spectra during germination of Abyssinian nougat seeds. The seeds are germinated for 7 days under standard conditions at room temperature on a mineral wool substrate with distilled water sprinkling as the substrate dries. Illumination includes monochromatic radiation by LEDs of blue, or green, or red light with a wavelength of 440 nm, 525 nm, 660 nm, respectively, at a low photon beam intensity in the range from 1.44 mcmol / m² • s to 6.52 mcmol / m² • s at the level of the substrate with seeds to obtain microgreens on the 7th day of seed germination.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to expand the possibilities of using LED lighting in the version of the monochromatic spectrum of blue, green and red light, determine the parameters of the radiation wavelength to increase the germination of Abyssinian nougat seeds and improve the quality of seedlings, namely, to start primary photosynthesis with obtaining microgreens enriched with bioactive components.
