FIELD: mechanical engineering; air cleaning facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed air cleaning device contains carrying housing, means to protect filters from atmospheric precipitation, de-icing system and system to remote dust accumulated in filter dust traps. Carrying housing is made in form of truncated pyramid. First stage filters grouped in units are secured on outer faces of carrying housing in several tiers square to housing. Filter blocks consist of multicyclones, intake chambers and dust traps. Second stage air filter units are arranged inside carrying housing. Means to protect filters from direction action of atmospheric precipitation is made in form of protective hood whose lower edge is arranged lower than lower tier of first stage filter units. Registers of de-icing system are arranged in zone of upward current of outside air for distributing hot air. Registers are installed for displacement in plane square to upward current parallel to front of higher-mounted units of first stage filters. Registers are connected with pipeline delivering hot air from engine compressor by means of telescopic device. Invention makes it possible to optimize aerodynamic characteristics of passage part of air cleaning device, reduce overall dimensions and mass, increase service life of filtering elements, reduce tendency to icing and amount of warm air taken off compressor of gas-turbine engine.
