SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine: therapy, endocrinology and cardiology, namely to therapeutic gymnastics with elements of respiratory gymnastics, and can be used to correct abdominal obesity and metabolic syndrome. Exercises are performed to form the skill of metabolic inhalation. The stages are carried out: a) close the mouth, tightly close the lips and teeth, b) the tongue is attached to the palate like a suction cup, creating negative pressure in the oral cavity, c) breathe only through the nose, producing an active deep diaphragmatic inhalation slightly holding the diaphragm in the position of deep inhalation and passive exhalation; d) after every 5 breaths (sighs), two acts of swallowing are performed in a row with closed lips and teeth and tongue attached to the palate like a suction cup, creating additional vacuum in the oropharynx. At the same time, these exercises are performed sitting, standing or lying down, supporting the head in a position where the crown is directed strictly upwards, the neck line continues the spine line, the direction of view is perpendicular to the spine line, the shoulders are lowered, for 5 minutes, and repeated daily 12-16 times a day for 4-6 months.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the effectiveness of the correction of the metabolic syndrome.
