FIELD: polymer compositions.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions containing a synthetic thermoplastic polymer and a filler suitable for producing biodegradable polymer products based on low density polyethylene with the performance properties of the traditional technology for processing thermoplastic materials. A biodegradable thermoplastic composition of low density polyethylene with the use of thermoplastic starch (TPS) as a filler stimulating the process of biodegradation of the composition is proposed. TPS is obtained by extrusion using enzymatically modified porous starch, or corn, or rice, or pea starch in the presence of plasticizers: glycerin and distilled monoglycerides. The composition is prepared with the following ratio of components per 100 parts by weight: starch 24-36, glycerin 12-18, distilled monoglycerides 4-6, low density polyethylene - the rest.
EFFECT: composition has excellent technological and operational characteristics at the same time with a reduced biodegradation period.
