FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions intended for production of biodegradable articles, such as films, including film products for weeds destruction, thermoformed articles for flower, vegetable seedlings, household garbage bags. Biologically degradable thermoplastic composition for producing polymer articles contains low-density polyethylene, porous corn starch, glycerine and sorbitol. Composition of thermoplastic starch includes porous corn starch obtained by biocatalytic hydrolysis of native corn starch in the presence of amylolytic enzymes, in following ratio of components, wt%: porous corn starch 18.0–21, glycerol 9.0–10.5, sorbitol 3.0–3.5, low-density polyethylene – the rest.
EFFECT: improved degradability in biodegradation conditions.
