FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to melioration. In a method, in the lower part of a meliorated field (hereinafter – MF), a main melioration channel (hereinafter – MMC) is formed with a depth of 1-3 m. At the same time, on the opposite side from MF, a bulk slope of the southern exposure of a variable angle of inclination is formed, made of two parts separated by a flow-regulating furrow (FRF) having an edge: the first one is located near MMC, having an angle of inclination to the field surface of more than 3°, and the second one is remote from MMC and having an angle of inclination to the field surface of no more than 3°. The inner surface of MMC and the first part of the bulk slope are covered with geomembrane, which is fixed on both sides on edges. On the bulk slope and in MMC, in the winter-spring period before snowmelt, snow is raked from MF, which during the snowmelt flows from the bulk slope along geomembrane into MMC in the form of water used for irrigation of MF in the summer.

EFFECT: method increases the efficiency of using natural and economic resources, ensures uniform warming of the soil of meliorated fields due to the effective collection of moisture during snowmelt and its preservation during the growing season for irrigation.
