FIELD: polyethylene production.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a composition of multimodal polyethylene in a reactor system, a composition of multimodal polyethylene obtained in this way, as well as to the use of a pipe containing a composition of multimodal polyethylene. The reactor system includes the first reactor, a hydrogen removal unit located between the first reactor and the second reactor and comprising at least one tank connected to pressure relief equipment, preferably selected from a vacuum pump, a compressor, a gas blower, an ejector or a combination thereof, the second reactor and the third reactor. At the same time, pressure relief equipment makes it possible to bring the operating pressure to values in the range of 104-130 kPa (abs.).
EFFECT: increase in mechanical properties of polyethylene compositions.
