SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in mechanical assembly production for pressing cylindrical bushings into the holes of body parts. The method of pressing cylindrical bushings into the holes of the body parts consists in creating an assembly gap in the joint by elastic radial deformation of the sleeve compression, due to the impact on its outer surface of the pressure of the liquid working medium, installing the sleeve into the hole in the body part and then sampling the said assembly gap due to elastic properties sleeve material, the installation of the sleeve is carried out by acting on its end face with the pressure of the liquid working medium, maintaining throughout the entire installation process the pressure in the assembly gap, greater than the pressure acting on the end face of the sleeve, for which a device is used containing a drive for axial displacement of the sleeve, made in the form of a piston cylinder, the body of which has the shape of a cup, facing the open end to the rod, a source of pressure of the liquid working medium, means for regulating the pressure and an element for centering the pressed-in sleeve relative to the hole in the body part, made in the form of a disk attached to the end of the rod. After installing the sleeve into the hole of the body part, a high-pressure liquid working medium is fed into the sleeve, providing a force effect on its inner surface and radial plastic deformation of the sleeve tension until the required tension of the mating parts is reached.

EFFECT: increasing the strength of the connection and the ability to adjust the amount of interference of the mating parts.
