FIELD: pipe restoration.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to the restoration of internal surfaces of pipes. The damaged layer of the inner part of the pipe is removed by boring and installed into the bored part of a pre-made bushing, and the outer surface of the bushing is automatically fastened to the inner surface of the pipe. Auto-fastening is performed with a pressure that is equal in magnitude to the auto-fastening pressure at full overload and created on the inner part of the pipe being restored, with preliminary compaction of the end sections of the said sleeve. The said bushing is made with an outer radius that is smaller than the pipe boring radius by the value of the relative gap between the outer surface of the bushing and the bored inner surface of the pipe.
EFFECT: strength of the pipe is ensured and its service life is restored.
