FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a new extractant for the extraction from an aqueous solution of phosphoric acid of rear earth metals present in this solution, as well as to the application of the specified extractant for processing aqueous solutions obtained during leaching of natural phosphates with sulfuric acid, and aqueous solutions obtained during leaching of household waste with phosphoric acid. The extractant contains a compound having the formula , where R1 and R2, the same or different, are a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon group containing 6-12 carbon atoms, R3 is a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and optionally one or more heteroatoms, or a saturated or unsaturated, monocyclic hydrocarbon group containing from 3 to 8 carbon atoms and optionally one or more heteroatoms, R4 an R5, the same or different, are a hydrogen atom or a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon group containing 2-8 carbon atoms and a surfactant.
EFFECT: inventions allow for conducting the extraction of rear earth metals with high selectivity relatively to metal impurities contained in the aqueous solution in the maximum wide range of phosphoric acid concentrations.
