SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy, dermatology and clinical laboratory diagnostics, and can be used to assess the effectiveness of the treatment of psoriatic arthritis. For this, upon admission and on the 30th day of treatment, the general antioxidant status, the content of superoxide dismutase, glutathine reductase and glutathione peroxidase are determined in the venous blood. Next, the ratio of the value of each indicator obtained on the 30th day of treatment to its value on the day of admission is calculated, then the average value of the sum of the obtained ratios of all indicators. With an average value of 1.5 or more, the treatment is recognized as effective; with an average value of less than 1.5, the treatment is recognized as ineffective.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to control the effectiveness of therapy in this category of patients and, if necessary, to timely adjust the tactics of patient management, as well as to predict the further course of the disease.
