SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering and can be used for kindling steam and hot water boilers. The method for oil-free kindling of steam and hot water boilers includes the use of a pilot burner, solid fuel and hot secondary air for kindling. From a gas generator, the power of which must maintain the boiler in working condition with a load of up to 30% of the maximum, through a gas pipeline on which an automatic shut-off valve is installed, which, if necessary, can cut off gas from the boiler furnace, a gas temperature control device inside the gas pipeline, which allows controlling the gas temperature inside the gas pipeline, a gas outlet pipe, if necessary used to discharge an excess amount of generator gas into the atmosphere, the generator gas is fed into a pilot burner with a temperature of at least 300°С and not exceeding 500°С, in which it is mixed with hot secondary air and forms a gas mixture that gets into the boiler furnace, where it is ignited.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency, reliability and environmental friendliness of the boiler firing and illumination system.
