FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: plasma-coal lighting-up method of pulverised-coal fired boiler involves supply of conveying air to pulverised coal pipeline, supply of pulverised coal from intermediate pulverised coal (PC) hopper through PC feeder to PC pipeline, determination of PC flow rate by means of that PC feeder, supply of the obtained air-and-coal mixture to thermochemical fuel treatment chamber of plasma-coal burner, generation of low temperature plasma in plasmatron, supply of plasma jet at the inlet of thermochemical fuel treatment chamber, supply of fuel mixture obtained in thermochemical fuel treatment chamber from burner to furnace of boiler unit, supply of secondary air to the furnace and its being mixed with fuel mixture in the furnace so that burning flame is formed, concentration of coal in air-and-coal mixture µ is specified within 0.4<µ<1 kg of coal per kg of air; at that, during lighting-up with low reactive coal there used is zone of low concentrations of the range, and during lighting-up with high reactive coal there used is zone of high concentrations of the above range.

EFFECT: reliable plasma-coal lighting-up of pulverised-coal fired boiler at reduction of electric power supplied to plasmatron.
