FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to molten salt reactors wherein the molten salts can include products of nuclear fission. The mechanism of chemical separation includes a molten salt receiver with molten salts placed therein; a solvent receiver, located wherein is a solvent; an electrode, and an electrode moving mechanism. The electrode moving mechanism may have a configuration allowing for immersion of the electrode in the molten salt receiver so that a chemical reaction occurs between the electrode and one or more products of nuclear fission in the molten salts. The electrode moving mechanism can ensure immersion of the electrodes in the molten salt receiver so that the products are deposited on the electrode.
EFFECT: invention ensures higher thermodynamic efficiency, and interesting and useful byproducts of nuclear fission can also be produced.
