FIELD: nuclear power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nuclear energy, in particular to means of controlling the composition of salt mixtures of a molten-salt reactor and studying the corrosion resistance of reactor structural materials. The device for measuring the redox potential of molten mixtures based on the LiF-BeF2 system contains a molybdenum substrate of a dynamic beryllium electrode, a molybdenum indicator electrode and a counter electrode isolated from each other, while the molybdenum substrate of a dynamic beryllium electrode and a molybdenum indicator electrode are placed and sealed using a silicone assembly in a corundum two-channel tube hermetically installed at one end in a steel tube with a steel sleeve with a reducer attached to it from the other end, on the outer surface of which a counter electrode is fixed in the form of a tube made of dense graphite with holes, and a steel tube, a steel sleeve with a reducer and a counter electrode form a single body, and inside the reducer an insulator is screwed made of boron nitride with channels through which a molybdenum substrate of a beryllium electrode and an indicator electrode pass, while the surface area of the counter electrode intended for immersion in the melt, is at least 5 times larger than the area of the molybdenum substrate of the dynamic beryllium electrode.

EFFECT: reliability and an increase in the duration of operation of the counter electrode, as well as reproducibility of the morphology of the electrodeposited dynamic beryllium electrode on a molybdenum substrate and reproducibility of its dissolution parameters during measurements of the redox potential of molten mixtures based on the LiF-BeF2 system in a molten-salt reactor and increased reliability of the device.
