FIELD: charging devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mobile fast charging device for electric vehicles located on board the vehicle. The fast charging device contains: a power source with a flywheel energy storage system, a control system with voltage and current converters. The energy storage system includes an even number of flywheels. The flywheels are located on a single frame. The flywheels have the same moments of inertia and parallel axes of rotation. Half of the flywheels rotate in the opposite direction relative to the other half of the flywheels.
EFFECT: reduction in the gyroscopic effect of the flywheel energy storage system on the vehicle is achieved.
