FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: sealing compound contains polydimethyl siloxanes, transformer oil, low-molecular weight rubber, a high-molecular weight rubber solution, aerosil and/or white soot, bentonite, organobentonite, pearlite, mica, liquid polyethylsiloxane, an organosilicon block-copolymer, α-olefins from C₁₂-C₁₄, C₁₆-C₁₈ and/or a propylene tetramer. The low-molecular weight rubber is selected from polyisobutylene, polybutadiene or nitrile rubber. The high-molecular weight rubber is selected from butadiene-styrene thermoplastic elastomer, butyl rubber or isoprene rubber. The sealing composition can further contain filler materials, such as microtalc, colloidal graphite, titanium dioxide (rutile) and a corrosion inhibitor.

EFFECT: sealing compound is resistant gas condensate components in a wide temperature range, is characterised by low temperature dependency of penetration and can be used in oil and gas industry in pipelines, primarily during winter and in the north-eastern regions of Russia.
