System (100) is disclosed for use, while assisting a user in focusing on performing actions related to personal care, wherein the system contains: at least one sensor; memory unit (110) and processing unit made with the possibility of: collecting data associated with the user during actions related to personal care; processing collected data by comparing collected data with stored characteristic features indicating distracting events to detect at least one characteristic feature indicating a distracting event for the user, when performing actions related to personal care, while processing contains at least one of the following: detection of a violation of the continuous movement of a personal care device; detection that the personal care device is removed from the processed surface; detection that the user is facing a user interface screen that displays a potentially distracting event; and initiation of one or several actions related to at least one detected characteristic feature indicating a distracting event to help the user focus on actions related to personal care. A method for assisting a user in focusing on performing actions related to personal care and a machine-readable medium containing a machine-readable code for performing the specified method are also disclosed.
