SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oral care. This is achieved by detecting the user’s movement during use of the oral care device; it is determined whether the amount of movement reaches or exceeds a threshold value for notifying the user of movement; and if the movement reaches or exceeds a threshold value, the user is notified of the movement by changing the user interface associated with the oral care device to provide a visual indicator to the user, the visual indicator being associated with movement of the user's body or head beyond the preset threshold.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at detecting the movement of the user during the use of the oral care device and providing useful feedback in order to improve compliance with the user's requirements and improve the user's cleaning behavior and / or oral hygiene.
