FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of production of branched thermoplastic elastomers based on styrene, butadiene or isoprene by anionic copolymerization. A method of producing branched thermoplastic elastomers by block copolymerization of styrene, butadiene or isoprene in an organic solvent under the influence of n-butyllithium and methyl tert-butyl ether or tetrahydrofuran is performed in the presence of a modifier, where a polymetallic polyfunctional alkoxide of potassium, sodium, barium and calcium is used as a modifier high boiling mixtures above 150°C alcohols N,N,N',N'-tetra(β hydroxypropyl)ethylenediamine (Lapramol-294) and tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol, or butylcellosolve, or ethylcarbitol, or a mixture thereof in toluene at a molar ratio of Lapramol-294:tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol, or butylcellosolve, or ethylcarbitol equal to 1.0:4.0 at a molar ratio n-butyllithium: modifier equal to 1.0:(0.01–0.1), increasing the speed of the synthesis process in the first block, having stereoregulating ability and providing improvement in the physical and mechanical properties of the resulting thermoplastic elastomers, followed by a combination of active diblock copolymers combining agent. Methyltriethoxysilane, tetraethoxysilane or silicon tetrachloride are used as coupling agents.

EFFECT: providing a method of producing thermoplastic elastomers by block copolymerization of styrene, butadiene or isoprene allows to increase the level of physical and mechanical properties, increase the speed of the process of producing thermoplastic elastomers and reduce gelation.
