SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container for powder designed for storing powder, such as toner, and to an image generation device that transports powder from the container for powder to a place of transportation destination. The container for powder is made with the possibility of inserting to the image generation device, and it includes an interlocking section of a main case that is made with the possibility of rotation and that protrudes to a side, which is higher along the flow in the insertion direction, in which the container for powder is inserted, wherein the image generation device includes an identifying protrusion that protrudes to the side, which is higher along the flow in the insertion direction, to identify a type of the container for powder. The container for powder includes an interlocking section of the container, a configuration of which provides the interlocking with the interlocking section of the main case, and an interlocking section, a configuration of which provides the interlocking with the identifying protrusion. The interlocking section is provided on the front – in the insertion direction – end of the container for powder. The interlocking section of the container protrudes outward from the external circular surface of the container for powder. The interlocking section of the container and the interlocking section rotate as a single whole.
