SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a container for powder intended for storage of powder, such as toner, and to image forming device, which transports powder from powder container to transportation destination. Group of inventions comprises an image forming device and a powder container configured to be inserted into an image forming apparatus. At that, powder container comprises: a plurality of parts, to which a driving force is transmitted, each of which is configured to contact at least one first projection of the image forming device, where said at least one first projection is configured to rotate and protrudes towards the upstream side in the insertion direction, in which the powder container is inserted, wherein said parts, on which the driving force is transmitted, project outside the outer periphery of the powder container such that one of the parts on which the driving force is transmitted is connected to the other of the parts, on which a driving force is transmitted, adjacent to said one of the parts, on which the driving force is transmitted, by means of at least one continuous inclined surface.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing an image forming device and a container for powder, made with possibility of using differences in positions in a direction different from radial direction, as differences in identifying shaped sections.
