FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: solid fuel combustion method involves tangential injection of oxidiser, supply of solid fuel and removal of combustion products; combustion is performed in detonation wave by creating a continuously renewed detonating layer of solid fuel mixed with oxidiser (as to the value, which is not less critical for detonation); for that purpose, very turbulent stream concentrated in flat vortex is created, and solid fuel is used as fine particles; at that, prior to the supply to the combustion chamber, solid fuel is mixed with combustible gas and continuously gasified; the formed combustible mixture is supplied through shaped openings to combustion chamber in which vortex flow is created with oxidiser flow; vortex flow provides strong mixing of combustible mixture with oxidiser, for example air, with further combustion of the formed mixture in detonation wave; at that, solid fuel is continuously supplied to combustion chamber.
EFFECT: invention allows stabilising combustion process, improving reliability and technological effectiveness of combustion chamber and labour and safety conditions.
