FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry and engine building and is designed as a power plant for generation of heat and electric energy. The plant includes a detonation chamber of oxygen-free decomposition of acetylene into gaseous hydrogen and carbon in the form of nanoparticles, which is connected to a separator for carbon separation. As a result of hydrogen combustion in the corresponding detonation chamber, heat and kinetic energy of a steam jet is formed for rotation of a turbine of an electric generator. The device can also be used as an aerobic power plant generating heat energy, carbon nanoparticles and hydrogen for use of the latter in electrochemical generators.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows complete prevention of emissions of carbon dioxide to atmosphere at operation of the power plant.
