FIELD: fuel.

SUBSTANCE: method for detonation combustion of fuel mixtures comprises separate feed of fuel and air into combustion chamber and initiation of detonation combustion of formed mixture. In addition, perturbed air is fed into the combustion chamber and mixed with products of detonation downstream from the critical width of the front of detonation wave to output of products from the chamber on the surface of walls in the order determined by heat flows into the chamber walls and conditions of additional mixing of perturbed air with combustion products at an angle to the flow of combustion products. Supply of perturbed air is performed along the flow through a row of holes or circular slits in the direction of outlet from the chamber.

EFFECT: invention allows to expand functional capabilities, increase the efficiency of the method for detonation combustion of fuel, improve manufacturability and cose effectiveness, as well as reduce the dimensions of combustion chamber.
