FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: kit for retrofitting a standard door lock with the function of an electric closer for Mercedes-Benz Gelandewagen cars contains an electric drive and a standard lock with an executive part and a cable with a lock attached to it, as well as sensors for turning on and opening the door located on the standard lock and/or on the electric drive, and the cable is different the end is fixed to the electric drive with the control unit. A method for installing a retrofit kit for a door lock and an actuating part are also proposed.
EFFECT: improved reliability is achieved.
