FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, in particular to floating structures such as artificial islands or pontoons. A floating module (1) is proposed, containing a group of walls (2) extending between the first longitudinal end (4) and the second longitudinal end (6), while the floating module (1) contains the first partition (8) and the second partition (10), groups of walls connecting each wall (2), forming the internal volume (12) of the floating module (1), and the floating module (1) contains at least one protrusion (14), emerging from the outer surface (16) of the wall (2), while the protrusion (14) extends in the longitudinal direction with a protrusion from the first longitudinal end (4) or from the second longitudinal end (6), while the protrusion (14) and the wall (2 ) are executed in one piece. A floating structure of floating modules and a method of connecting floating modules to form such a floating structure are also proposed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a modular floating structure with the characteristics of a monolithic structure, with the same mechanical strength as that of a standard section of a floating module.
