FIELD: defective cards discarding means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means used for moving cards and discarding defective cards when performing operations for the electronic and graphic personalization of ID documents. The module for moving the card of the device for laser and/or electronic personalization includes a body containing two interconnected vertically oriented walls, located with the possibility of moving cards between them; stepper motor; two pairs of rollers fixed in the housing from the side of its inlet and outlet in the direction of movement of the card, where the rollers in each pair are located one above the other with the ability to move the card when the rollers rotate, and one of the rollers of each pair is connected to a stepping motor; an optocoupler designed to determine the position of the card. In this case, the movement module contains a card ejection unit, which includes a spring-loaded cut-off plate placed between the walls of the case and pairs of rollers on its axis with the possibility of rotation around it, and a rotation limiter for the cut-off plate. The spring-loaded cut-off plate is made with the possibility of moving the card towards the exit when receiving a signal about correctly performed personalization, and directing the card to the zone for discarding cards located in the lower part of the case between its walls, in case of receiving a signal about incorrect personalization. The rollers located on the side of the block exit are made with the ability to move the card in the opposite direction until it stops in the cut-off plate.

EFFECT: device provides card rejection functions directly in the motion module.
