FIELD: electronic and graphic personalization of flat data carriers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for realizing a process of personalizing a flat data medium. Method comprises transporting a data carrier workpiece from a receiving device to a positioning device, placing the carrier workpiece on the working surface of the positioning device, providing the required positioning of the carrier workpiece relative to the processing device, carrying out, using a processing device, personalization of the carrier on its opposite sides by turning the positioning device and unloading the personalized carrier, wherein after placing the carrier workpiece on the working surface of the positioning device, finishing the carrier workpiece, ensuring its installation in the required position on the working surface of the positioning device by moving the positioning device together with the carrier workpiece.
EFFECT: high accuracy of positioning a carrier on a working table.
