FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology for automatic reconstruction of a 3D scene of what is happening at a sports facility. The method for automatic restoration of a 3D scene of what is happening at a sports facility includes the following steps: the movements of the athlete and the location of the sports equipment are filmed and recorded using at least two video cameras installed at the sports field; video streams received from at least two video cameras are synchronized; the received data are transmitted to the server, where on each of these video streams, the athlete’s skeleton is determined by its key points, such as the head, shoulders, spine, legs, arms and feet; the athlete’s skeleton and the location of the projectile in 3D space in dynamics are restored.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and reduction of the recovery time of 3D coordinates of objects.
