FIELD: printing.

SUBSTANCE: printing fluid supply apparatuses include tanks with a printing liquid. The printing liquid can constitute such a printing substance as ink, or any substance ensuring the process of two-dimensional or three-dimensional printing. The printing liquid supply apparatus is subject to connection with a printing system and comprises a container containing the printing liquid and a coupling unit for hydraulic connection of said container with the receiving station of the printing system. The coupling unit therein comprises a liquid-coupling part with a seal for hydraulic connection with the liquid needle of the receiving station, a liquid channel for hydraulic connection of the container and the liquid-coupling part, and at least one matching rod passing next to the needle-receiving part of the liquid channel so that the longitudinal axis along which said at least one matching rod passes is approximately parallel to the central axis of the needle-receiving part. The coupling unit therein additionally comprises a recess accommodating an array of contact pads of the integrated circuit for connection with the data transmission connector of the printing system, the contact surfaces of the contact pads are facing the container, resulting in the data transmission connector passing into said recess and between the contact surfaces of the array of contact pads and the container when connected to the printing system.

EFFECT: provided improved modularity of the components of the printing liquid supply apparatus due to the provided possibility of using the printing liquid supply apparatus for a wide range of different printing system platforms.
