FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a method for suppressing the adhesive properties of cholera vibrio, including introduction of 3 mg/l of diclofenac into one of two 50 ml flasks contaminated with a suspension of 104 m.c./ml of cholera vibrio and with 4 chitin plates with a size of 0.3×0.3 cm, sustaining at 28°C for up to two days; after 2-12-24-48 hours, the chitin plates are removed from the flasks, washed three times in saline solution, then each plate is placed in a 1.5 ml container with 0.5 ml of distilled water, temperature lysis of cells at 99°C for 30 minutes and DNA isolation are executed; then the amount of cholera vibrio cells in the supernatant, adhered to chitin, is determined by the PCR method in a control flask without diclofenac and in a flask with diclofenac, the adhesion indicator and the degree of suppression of adhesion of cholera vibrio cultures are calculated.
EFFECT: invention expands the scope of methods for suppressing the adhesion of cholera vibrio and evaluation thereof.
