FIELD: computer technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology for the processing of audio data. A signal is received, decoded in the first frequency range called the lower range; the decoded signal of the lower range is extended on at least one second frequency range, which is higher than the first frequency range, wherein the decoded signal of the lower range forms an extended decoded signal of the lower range; tonal components and an environment signal are extracted from a signal occurred from the decoded signal of the lower range; tonal components and the environment signal are combined by means of the adaptive mixing using coefficients of energy level control to obtain a sound signal called a combined signal; wherein coefficients of energy level control contain a coefficient of environment level control and a coefficient of energy level control fac, while fac is calculated as a total energy function of the decoded signal of the lower range and tonal components.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of decoding of the sound frequency signal.
