FIELD: absorbent products.

SUBSTANCE: absorbent products with front and back opening elements are disclosed. The product may contain an absorbent insert containing outer coating, cushioning material and a core between outer coating and cushioning material, the first waist panel connected to the insert and having the lower edge of the first waist panel, the upper edge of the first waist panel, the outer surface of the first waist panel and the inner surface of the first waist panel, and the second waist panel connected to the insert. The first waist panel may be connected to the second waist panel along side edges of the product, and the first waist panel may additionally contain a weakened area containing weakened parts extending at least partially between the lower edge of the first waist panel and the upper edge of the first waist panel. The weakened area may have a percentage of the weakened area from about 45% to about 90%.

EFFECT: obtaining an absorbent product closed from sides.
