FIELD: mineral processing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is related to devices designed for mineral processing, and can be used to separate solid particles by density, in particular, to process gold ores and fine sands. The centrifugal concentrator comprises a hollow rotor connected to a bowl placed in its cavity, which has a cylindrical wall with recesses on the inner surface between the annular protrusions and with holes for injecting liquid into the recesses from the liquid supply device through the hollow rotor shaft and the cavity between the walls of the rotor and the bowl. In the recesses between the annular protrusions, annular cavities are formed with edges converging towards the outer surface of the bowl, on which corrugations are made, and in the upper expanded part of the recesses, permeable plugs covering the annular cavities are installed, consisting of a mesh, traps connected to it and polymer veins. The corrugation on the edges of the annular cavities is formed by protrusions that form a curvilinear spiral located around the axis of the bowl, pine with a rotor, and one end of the spiral is close to the inner surface of the bowl in the wide part of the recess, and the second end is distant from the axis of the bowl and is located in the narrow part of the recess, whereas the spirals on opposite faces of the annular cavity are shifted relative to each other by half the base of the section of the spiral protrusion.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of segregation of separated particles.
