FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and is intended to restore the integrity of the tibia with extensive defects of the diaphysis and multiple splintering fractures. Fragment 5 of the diaphysis is extracted from the fibula of an intact limb and an autograft is formed. An incision is made on the anterior surface of the knee joint of the injured limb. From the proximal end of the tibia, the medullary canal 9 of the proximal fragment 2 of the tibia is opened, the medullary canal 9 of the proximal 2 and distal 3 fragments of the tibia are processed with a tool 11. Next, an autograft is inserted from the proximal end into the medullary canal of the proximal fragment, the proximal and distal fragments are compared, the distal end of the autograft is immersed into the medullary canal of the distal fragment of the tibia until it stops, the proximal end of the autograft is blocked with bone screws 6 to the proximal fragment. The incision of the anterior surface of the knee joint is sutured. The tibia is fixed with an external fixation device 7. Then an osteotomy of a longer bone fragment of the tibia is performed, the fragment is fixed in an external fixation device and shifted along the autograft with the formation of a distraction regenerate. Fibula restoration is performed.

EFFECT: method allows restoring the integrity of the damaged tibia without incisions in the defect area using an autograft and with the creation of favorable conditions for the stabilization of bone fragments, bone consolidation and the formation of bone regenerate due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
