FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, namely to sliding friction units, and can be used in the design of radial bearing supports. A method for perceiving a radial load during rotation is proposed, which consists in installing between coaxial cylindrical surfaces (2, 4) that rotate relative to each other and a common axis of at least one polymeric wavy ring (5). In this case, the ring (5) is in an elastically compressed state relative to the cylindrical surfaces. A sleeve bearing is also proposed, which implements this method. The bearing consists of a housing (1) and a sleeve (3), between the coaxial cylindrical surfaces (2, 4) of which at least one polymeric wave-like ring (5) is installed. In this case, the ring (5) is in an elastically compressed state relative to the cylindrical surfaces.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of work and the resource of the friction pair, which perceives the radial load during rotation, due to the design.
